The course focuses on knowledge about the social aspects of ESG and training in the skills needed to process and present ESG reports. The aim is to develop the competencies necessary for transforming an organization in accordance with ESG requirements. The content includes the theoretical concept of ESG, social standards and ESG metrics, ESG reporting, work competencies for the position of ESG manager, examples of good practice, and ESG case studies.

Requirements for completing the course:
Credit:
active participation in the exercises (min. 80% attendance),
teamwork, and presentation of the seminar work (max. 20 points).
Exam:
midterm test (the 8th week of classes, max. 40 points),
final test (the 14th week of classes, or during the exam period, max. 40 points),
min. 50% points from each test.
Mark:
A (100-90 points),
B (89-80 points),
C (79-70 points),
D (69-60 points),
E (59-50 points),
F (less than 50 points).

3.ESG social reporting vs. CSR: areas and stakeholders,
4.ESG reporting of social factors: social standards and metrics,
5.The place of ESG in organizational management and certification: ESG management system and models,
6.The relationship of ESG social reporting to results: long-term economic stability, performance, reputation and values
7.Benefits of ESG reporting: social impacts on employees (diversity, equality, safe work, decent work),
8.Exkursion to a company (ZEVO), OSH, public relations with the local community
9.Work competencies required in the transformation to ESG, ESG social skills needed to transform an organization towards ESG,
10.Employee involvement in the ESG social reporting strategy and ESG projects,
11.Integration of ESG into human resources management: how ESG projects can contribute to the development of soft skills, the impact of ESG initiatives on employee stabilization and work motivation,

- Study Objective:

The aim is to gain knowledge about ESG social aspects and practice the competencies required by employers for the position of ESG manager or when solving tasks and projects focusing on ESG initiatives. The course includes developing, presenting, and defending teamwork on a selected topic related to ESG competencies.
