Synopsis:

The course includes an explanation of the role of psychometrics and AI in recruitment and selection and a demonstration of the practices used in assessing an employee's development potential. The focus is on demonstrating personnel methods applied in recruiting and selecting job applicants in the automotive, engineering, and logistics industries. The goal is to expand knowledge about the current state and trends in recruitment and selection and further develop the skills monitored when evaluating employee potential.

Requirements:

Active participation in classes (min. 80% participation from the time allowance)

Credit for preparing a seminar paper and submitting it to Moodle.

Max. number of 20 points.

It's important to note that this course emphasizes practical skills. You will learn how to interpret psychometric test results and explain the policies and practices involved in recruiting and selecting job applicants. These skills are valuable in this course and your future career.

Study Objective:

The subject provides an overview of current recruitment and selection policies and practices. The focus is to demonstrate and practice the methods applied in selecting job applicants and using artificial intelligence (AI) to assess the worker potential. The starting point is to describe psychometrics and explain how AI technology is applied in the psychometric assessment of job applicants and how it affects the work of psychologists in HR. The next step is to illustrate practices in recruitment and selection in the automotive, engineering, and logistics industries.
