- Synopsis:

First, the basic features of the legal regulation of human relations will be explained, with an emphasis on distinguishing from other ways of regulating social relations, such as morality or religion. The next block of topics deals with state power and the separation of powers in the state (and in the EU) and the basic characteristics of state powers from the perspective of Czech law. The third, most comprehensive block is devoted to private law relationships. Students will be acquainted with the individual elements of legal relations and with the functioning of contractual relations in particular.

Student will gain a basic view of the functioning of law as a regulation of human behavior and the position of the state in the creation of legal regulation implemented in its state territory. Student will be able to distinguish basic legal relations and will understand the principles of their legal regulation.
