- Synopsis:

The course prepares students for the C1 Advanced (CAE) exam.
Students deepen the skills they have already acquired in reading, writing, use of English, listening, and speaking and practise them in exam tasks of different types. Students will also become aware of various strategies which can help them to succeed in the exam. The course is designed for advanced APIN students. A student can enrol in the course only if they have passed all the respective courses and examinations (04AP3KK, 04APAK, and 04API). At the end of the course there is a mock exam.

Advanced level of English (approx. C1); completed courses: 04AP3KK, 04APAK, and 04API.

The syllabus is based on the CAE exam. Particular exam tasks in reading,writing, use of English, listening, and speaking are practised.

The course is run as a series of seminars following the topics and scope of the syllabus mentioned above.
