The subject is aimed at deepening knowledge of the properties and use of electronic elements and circuits for generating, modifying and processing signals displaying physical quantities in control systems, methods of signal transmission and evaluation in analog and digital form.
- Requirements:

In order to receive credit, the student must be physically present at the lesson and must complete all assigned tasks in the laboratory. If the student's absence is more than 10%, he must complete the assignment assigned by the teacher in accordance with the additional requirements.
- Syllabus of lectures:

1. Semiconductor elements and their applications for sensors of physical quantities
2. Special sensors of physical quantities with a focus on mechanical quantities
3. Signal amplifiers, their construction, applications and limitations
4. Signal generators
5. Frequency selective circuits, signal filtering
6. Signal transmission along the line, communication bus
7. Circuits with distributed parameters, propagation of electromagnetic waves
8. Wireless signal transmission, encoding and transmission security
9. Digital processing of signals
10. Level converters D/D, A/D, D/A
11. Accumulation of electrical energy, galvanic cells
12. Methods of protection and monitoring of electrical, control and sensor systems
13. Electromagnetic compatibility

1. Properties of semiconductor components and sensors (piezoelectric, tensometric, position sensors, accelerometer)
2. Primary signal processing circuits - amplifiers, properties
3. Generators of periodic harmonic and non-harmonic (pulse) signals, properties, output signal parameters.
4. Optoelectronic elements, measurement of static and dynamic properties
5. Measurement of parameters of transmission routes, interference, electromagnetic compatibility
6. Signal filtering, analog filter, digital filter, properties
7. Power supplies - basic parameters

The aim of the subject is to provide students with knowledge about electronic elements and sensors used in electronic circuits for sensing and processing signals, their modification in applications in control systems. The student will acquire basic knowledge about the function, properties and use of digital electronic systems and methods of signal transmission and evaluation in analog and digital form.
