- Synopsis:

The course includes personnel/human resource management concepts, policies, and practices. The objective is to lecture and train personnel/HRM practices applied by employers with a good reputation in the labor market. Contents cover managerial role and HR department role, HRM systems, personnel/HR planning, recruitment, selection and orientation, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, the quality of work life, collective labor relations and social dialogue, career development, and talent management.
- Requirements:

Active exercise participation (min. 80% participation from the time allowance).
Elaboration of team seminar work and its presentation.
The continuous test is in the 8th week of classes.
The final test is in the 14th week of classes.
Writing a test in Moodle.
The minimum number of points for successful completion is 50% of the total number.

- Study Objective:

The course aims to learn human resource management and practice competencies employers require when solving individual tasks and team projects. A part is to elaborate, present, and defend a team work on a personnel/HR topic. That means the following:
1.Deepening knowledge of HRM achieved at bachelor level of study.
2.To get knowledge about integrating HRM into corporate systems and processes.
3.To enlarge understanding of strategies and practices for managing people in specific conditions, e.g., in small and medium-sized companies and multinational companies.
4.Developing competencies required for effective teamwork.
