Synopsis:

Brief annotation of the subject

The course is designed to prepare students for a final (diploma) thesis, during which they will demonstrate independent analytical and creative abilities as well as the ability to integrate knowledge from previous phases of study.

Diploma Thesis Seminar 2 builds on the outputs from the Diploma Thesis Seminar 1 and Annual Project. The aim of the seminar is to teach students to process the results and the discussion and thus bring the thesis to a successful conclusion. The content of the seminar is the presentation of the process, processing and interim results of the students' thesis and their ongoing review and discussion. The student is also being prepared for the final defense of his diploma thesis.

Requirements:

Fulfillment of two presentations. Submission of 2 student reports for the final (diploma) thesis, in which they will demonstrate independent analytical and creative abilities as well as the ability to integrate knowledge from previous stages of study. Elaboration of chapters, results and discussion of the thesis; these submitted parts must organically follow the theoretical part of the thesis and the description of the methods and meet the qualitative requirements for the diploma thesis. The condition for granting credit is the official handing in of the completed diploma thesis.
