The subject covers the areas of planning, needs assessment, selection, purchase, installation and maintenance of medical equipment, training for its safe use, service evaluation, decommissioning and disposal of medical equipment.
- Requirements:

The condition for credit is a successful presentation of the semester's work and completion of the final test with evaluation according to the ECTS scale.

• The structure of internal regulations in the field of medical technology management of a medical facility
• Planning, needs assessment, selection, purchase, installation and maintenance of medical equipment
• Feasibility study proposal, project documentation, utility networks
• Purpose of use and acquisition of medical equipment, depreciation and disposal of fixed assets
• Delivery of a new medical device
• Training in safe use, repair and maintenance of medical equipment, training of medical and technical personnel
• Maintenance, service and its valuation, amortization curves, real price of maintenance, service
• Decommissioning and disposal of equipment
• Prices of medical technology, MR, CT, SPECT, breathing apparatus, monitoring, patient records, anesthesia equipment, laboratory, refrigerator, diesel units, vacuum cleaners, UPS, compressors
• Technical documentation for the selection procedure of medical technology

• Proposal for the layout of rooms in hospitals – pavilion vs. monobloc. Categorization of medical devices.
• Assignment of independent work - preparation of technical specifications for the purchase of medical equipment.
• Draft ARO. Layout of devices on the box. Department layout.
• ICU filter design, material transport design.
• Specifications of medical technology. Examples of errors during realizations, how to behave when discovering a situation that is not in accordance with the legislation or our idea.
