- Synopsis:
-
The aim of this course is to provide students with no prior knowledge of electronics a basic understanding of the concepts and applications of IoT (Internet of Things) in construction and geodesy. The course will cover the basic principles of IoT, including sensors, communication protocols, and cloud computing, so that students acquire sufficient knowledge for the practical use of IoT technologies in construction. Additionally, the course will focus on the deployment possibilities of IoT in construction, various applications and technologies, security aspects, and standards. Students will have the opportunity to design and implement a project utilizing IoT technologies in construction.
Students will become familiar with various technologies that can be used to improve construction project management, energy efficiency, safety, and monitoring. The course will emphasize the practical aspects of IoT, allowing students to gain experience in designing and implementing their own IoT projects.
