Synopsis:

The concept of design of building structures with a comprehensive consideration of the functional requirements imposed on individual elements. Requirements for building structures, structural system, interaction of elements, spatial effect of the structural system. Vertical load-bearing structures (functions, requirements, principles of the structural design of walls, columns), floor structures (functions, requirements, principles of the structural design of vaults, wooden ceilings, reinforced concrete ceilings, ceramic concrete ceilings, steel and steel concrete ceilings). Expansion joints in load-bearing systems. Structural systems of single and multi-storey buildings, structural systems of long-span structures.

Requirements:

For graduates of secondary technical schools with construction specialization: basic knowledge of creating technical documentation and drawing construction structures.

For other students: enrollment in the subject YZSK_Technical drawing of building structures.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basic classification and development of building structures.

2. Requirements for building structures, principles of structural design. Structural systems.

3. Vertical structures 1 - Functions, requirements, technological and construction principles.

4. Vertical structures 2 - Material and technological variants of load-bearing walls and columns.

5. Vertical structures 3 - Envelopes of buildings. Partitions.

6. Horizontal structures 1 - Functions, requirements, technological and construction principles. Vaults.

7. Horizontal structures 2 - Reinforced concrete and ceramic-concrete floor structures.
