Synopsis:

Development of new materials in transport, energy and petrochemicals. Increasing the metallurgical purity of iron and steel. Increasing the strength of steels for welded constructions and pipelines. Deep drawing and high strength body sheets. Marking and testing of new materials according to European and American standards. Trends in the development of thermomechanically processed and maraging steels. Duplex stainless steels. Martensitic and austenitic heat-resistant steels for supercritical coal-fired power plants. Development of hardenable Ni alloys for aviation and new generations of nuclear reactors. Hardening of light metal alloys Al, Mg, Ti and Be. Materials produced by powder metallurgy. Metal glasses. Nano and microcrystalline metallic materials. Oxidized, non-oxidized and composite ceramics. Weldable polymer materials, thermoplastic elastomers. Modification of composite matrices and reinforcements. Biocompatible materials. High temperature superconductors. Conditions of superplasticity. Materials with one-way and two-way shape memory. Materials used in additive technologies, functionally graded materials.
