Synopsis:

In this course the basics of programming in z/OS are explained namely the programming in assembler. Basic instructions, macros, I/O operations, DLL library loading and some other topics are discussed.

Requirements:

Basic operations with the mainframe on the level of the course Introduction to the mainframe.

8. Subroutines

9.-10. Macros

11.-12. Dynamic modules

Knowledge:

Structure of the assembler instructions, data types, inputs and outputs, data conversions, tables and loops, logical operations, subroutines, macros, dynamic modules.

Skills:

Student will learn how to write simple programs in assembleru for the system z/OS. The student will be able to easier understand specialize training courses of software developing companies.
