The course is a compulsory subject intended for the first year of doctoral studies. The PhD students fall into intermediate or advanced groups according to the result of their oral interview and written placement test. The minimum level for the intermediate course is B2 according to CEFR. The course is focused on specific features of formal professional language used in an academic environment. It is necessary to maintain the sequence of winter - summer semesters.
