Synopsis:

Introduction to different types of extreme loads, their classification and specifics. Effects of different extreme loads on building structures, building elements and building materials Different approaches for calculating damage and response of building elements.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of structural mechanics and dynamics.

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with different types of rapid impulsive loads and their effects on concrete and other modern cementitious composites.
