Synopsis:

The course focuses on the production of audiovisual works (lectures) and the issues of stage technology (exercises).

Requirements:

Participation in lectures and seminars

Conditions for awarding graded credit:

1. Active participation in seminars (max. 3 excused absences per semester)

2. Fulfillment of formal requirements - drawing A1: floor plan and section with a drawing of the relevant technologies.

3. Submission of the work by the required deadline.

Syllabus of lectures:

DRAMATURGY OF AUDIO-VISUAL WORK

- relationship of visual with auditory

- horizontal-vertical relationships

- harmony, contrast, another dimension

- photography, painting, sculpture, book art in general

SOUND DRAMATURGY OF AUDIO-VISUAL WORKS

- components of sound dramaturgy: - spoken word, noises (atmospheres), music

- film silence

- dubbing

SOUND DRAMATURGY OF PLAYED-Drama THEATRE PERFORMANCES

- also with regard to the placement and dramaturgical application of sound technology in the space of theatres

- in contrast to film, it is a demonstration of direct, live, immediate

COOPERATION OF THE SOUND MASTER with:

- directors

- screenwriters

- cameramen

- architects

- construction

- costume designers, makeup artists

- actors

- presenters

- editors

- music composers

- music performers

- sound engineers

- production

etc.

with regard to:

- FEATURE FILM

- ANIMATED FILM

- DOCUMENTARY FILM

- PRE-RECORDED TV PROGRAMS (productions, competitions, talk shows, news, journalism, etc.)

- LIVE BROADCAST TV PROGRAMS (sports broadcasts, annual awards ceremonies, news, journalism, etc.)

- DRAMA THEATRE PERFORMANCES

Study Objective:

The aim is to understand the issues of producing an audiovisual work (lectures) and the technical aspects of selected stage technology (exercises).
