Thermal properties of solids, electrical conductivity of metals, Sommerfeld model. Band model of metal structures, insulators and semiconductors. Semiconductor and solid state lasers. Thermoelectric and magnetoelectric phenomena. Magnetic properties of solids. Superconductivity.
