The aim of the lectures is to extend the engineering knowledge about special production techniques used in instruments design and its functional parts.

• Theory and praxis of the special parts production techniques (small lathes, Swiss type lathe, precise drilling, fine pressing and punching).
• Bearing and balls production.
• Production of the flat surfaces, spheres, and cylinder surfaces.
• Diamond techniques. Production of lenses, prisms, and optical fibers.
• Elastic elements production techniques (springs, membranes, bellows …).
• Physical machining technique.
• Production of artificial crystals.
• Micromachining techniques, Production of composites, 3D techniques.
