The aim of the lectures is to extend the engineering knowledge about special production techniques used in instruments design and its functional parts.

Theory and praxis of the special parts production techniques (small lathes, Swiss type lathe, precise drilling, fine pressing and punching).
Bearing and balls production.
Production of the flat surfaces, spheres, and cylinder surfaces.
Diamond techniques. Production of lenses, prisms, and optical fibers.
Elastic elements production techniques (springs, membranes, bellows ).
Physical machining technique.
Production of artificial crystals.
Micromachining techniques, Production of composites, 3D techniques.
