Synopsis:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with management and product life cycle analysis. The subject of the course are methods of quantification, analysis and optimization of product lifecycle costs. The acquired knowledge forms are the basis for a qualified assessment of the product design variants in terms of product lifecycle cost in order to select the optimal variant.

•Life cycle product management. Product Lifecycle Strategy. Product development.

•The role of product management at different stages of product life cycle.

•Principles, procedures, and application of product lifecycle management

•Product life cycle management in its individual phases

•Managing the market and economic efficiency of product and product innovation.

•Identification and quantification of relevant factors affecting life cycle costs.

•The significance of the product design and product development stage for the cost of the product

•Cost prediction of Product life cycle. Methods of cost estimation

•Procedures for costing the life cycle cost of a product in its individual phases.

•Principles and procedures for product life cycle cost modelling. Life cycle cost optimization and product value. Cost- Benefits Analysis.

•Life cycle cost analysis of product. Sensitivity analysis. Managing risk and uncertainty within the LCC
