Synopsis:

Gain basic practical knowledge in theory of metal forming utilised in metal forming processes used in mechanical engineering industry.

•Fundamentals of plasticity.

•Stress and strain tensors

•Stress-strain curves and related mechanical properties and phenomena

•Methods for analysing metalworking processes. Calculation of load and energy parameters.

•Formability of metals and criteria, and influencing criteria.

•Forming limit curves in sheet and bulk metal forming (FLC. FLD)
