Synopsis:

Objective and focus:

Surface treatment technologies, progressive and non-traditional technologies, measurement of operating parameters in surface treatment technologies, computer technology in control and inspection of surface treatment operations, detection and quality control of surface treatments. Methods of creating functional coatings, their properties. Galvanic alloy and composite coatings. Heat-sprayed coatings and their composition. Heat metallurgy in molten metals. Galvanoplasty. Methods of protection against wear, methods of protection against corrosion, methods of protection against heat, special coatings, alloy and dispersion coatings, surface treatment technology, surface pretreatment, surface treatment equipment, designing and designing of production technologies, testing, standards, legislation.
