Synopsis:

BIM as a digital representation of the physical and functional properties of a building. Creating and managing information about a building project throughout its lifecycle. An integrated approach to building design as a process involving all stakeholders, including architects. Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the building design process. Platform for information sharing and project collaboration.

Requirements:

Minimum participation in workshops 60%.

Preparation of a seminar paper and its presentation.

Oral examination in the form of a debate during the presentation of the seminar paper.

- Building information model and how to share it via CDE

- Sustainable building construction, economic, social and environmental criteria, comprehensive building assessment

- Analysis of completed buildings where BIM has been used

Study Objective:

To deepen the student's knowledge of information modelling of buildings and to prepare him/her for the preparation of a dissertation on the basis of the selected topic of the seminar work.
