The course is based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization for the countries of the European Union regarding the professional activities of workers in the field of health protection, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Current knowledge of medicine in the field of health promotion refutes/disproves the recently accepted factor view, ie the effect of individual components of lifestyle on human health. Only a holistic view of lifestyle as a complex of biological and psychosocial influences can be used as a decisive determinant of health.
