Synopsis:

Metal structures, wooden structures, structures made of plastics.

The aim of the study subject is a basic overview of properties of structural materials (steel, aluminum alloys, wood and materials based on wood, plastic materials), the methodology of design of structures made of these materials, including methods of connecting elements. Brief overview of types and structural effects of low-floor, high-rise, hall and special objects, their supporting spatial arrangement and the issue of their spatial rigidity.
