1. the origin and development of monument care from ancient times to the present, introductory overview

2. Politics and presentation of the past: Germany, the United States, Great Britain,

3. Politics and presentation of the past: France, Italy, Spain

4. Non-European cultures

5. Theory of cultural appropriation, criticism of monument care from a social point of view

6. Case studies I

7. Case studies II

8. Case studies III

10. Fragment of a work of art and architecture

11. Architect as a visual artist.

Study Objective:

the architect learns the principles of heritage protection and possibilities of argumentation in the creative process in frame of historical context.
