The course Czech - Professional Language for Foreigners is intended for all foreign students (especially students in the Bachelor's degree programmes).
The aim of the course is to strengthen the communication skills of foreign students in the Czech language at the initial stage of their studies using a set of language materials based on core subjects taught in Bachelor’s degree programmes (more in the syllabus).
Other objectives of the elective course are to support the students' ability to use the acquired knowledge in practice by means of an interactive trilingual (ČJ-AJ-RJ) dictionary, a database of professional articles based on current works, and especially prepared sets of language exercises to grasp the lexis.
After successful completion the student gains a credit.
