Synopsis:

The course will focus on managerial and technical-economic planning during the basic technological processes of construction. The main focus will be on managerial skills in the management and control of building capacities and mechanization from the point of view of the contractor. Students will be acquainted with the principles of practical cost calculation of individual technological processes of construction. Teaching topics will be explained in case studies.

1. General theory of process control

2. Procedural management during earthworks and foundation

3. Process management during the implementation of monolithic reinforced concrete structures - formwork

4. Process management during the implementation of monolithic reinforced concrete structures - steel reinforcement

5. Process management during the implementation of monolithic reinforced concrete structures - concrete work

6. Process management - assembled skeletons

7. Procedural management - masonry work

8. Process control - plasters and cast floors

9. Process management - plasterboard work

10. Process management - thermal insulation and insulation against water

11. Process management - assembled facades

Syllabus of tutorials:

Complete production preparation for the implementation of the monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton of the parking garage

Study Objective:

Acquaintance with the basic technological procedures of construction in connection with cost calculation, time planning, organization of work capacities, mechanization, risk management, quality management and coordination. Explanation of the management and control activities of the construction manager and presentation of the usual formal actions in relation to the investor and subcontractors.
