Synopsis:

The aim of the lecture is an introduction to selected basic methods of image processing and analysis with an emphasis on the applications to material engineering. Solutions of particular tasks built in Matlab are presented.

Requirements:

Linear algebra, mathematical analysis, practical programming

5.Objects and morphological operations

6.Binarization

7.Description of objects 1: cells. Related computational means

8.Description of objects 2: fiber structures

9.Discrete 2D Fourier transformation

10.Image registration

11.Geometrical transformations

Syllabus of tutorials:
Study Objective:

Knowledges: digital image representation, selected basic methods of image processing and analysis, related means in Matlab.

Skills: creation of image processing/analysis solutions in Matlab.
