The student is acquainted with principles of problems of particular most important clinical branches, with most important features of diseases and possibilities of their treatment. Emphasize is put on diseases principally participating in the mortality in the Czech Republic or occurring most frequently.

achievement of at least 15 points in the written test
examination:
based on a test, achievement of at least 19 points of 30 attainable ones to the extent of the reference literature and themes presented at lectures.
caution: intervals between repeated examinations must not be shorter than 7 days.

1st week - Clinical propaedeutic - anamnesis, examination
of the patient
2nd week - Clinical propaedeutic - examination of the
patient, auxiliary examinations
3rd week - Introduction to cardiology and angiology
4th week - Introduction to pneumology and nephrology
5th week - Introduction to haematology and blood
transfusions
6th week - Internal metabolism, principles of
gastroenterology
7th week - Basic neurological examinations
8th week - Vascular diseases
9th week - Vertebrogenic diseases
10th week - Surgical propaedeutic I
11th week - Surgical propaedeutic II
12th week - Principles of abdominal and thoracic surgery
and neurosurgery
13th week - Information on traumatology, orthopaedics and
urology
