Synopsis:

The aim of the course is to understand the topic of scripting languages and their applications, to understand their advantages and disadvantages and their complementarity with system languages. Students will become familiar with regular expressions and tools for word processing. The course focuses on the scripting languages within the Unix operating system and the scripting languages Python.

Requirements:

Students will continuously complete minitests during workshops, for which they can get up to 40 points. In the middle and at the end of the semester there will be tests for the total number of 60 points. The grade is determined according to the number of points obtained and the ECTS scale.

Study Objective:

Advanced knowledge of scripting in Matlab, using Matlab for mathematics, signal processing, image processing, and user interface creation.
