- Synopsis:
-
Teaching in the summer semester is conducted in a modern, non-frontal, project-based format with an emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach. Instruction is based on independent creative work by students, who develop a selected topic from the field of biomedical engineering and present it in the form of a project. The project then serves as the basis for a guided in-class discussion, which is actively moderated by the student.
The course also includes an individual oral interview with the instructor, focused on a professional article from the journal New Scientist, available in the faculty library. The aim of these activities is to develop professional communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to conduct technical discussions in English.
