Intelligent embedded systems course for master's degree is focused on high-level technology embedded systems integrating artificial intelligence. The course is an advance version of the Intelligent embedded system fundamentals course for the bachelor degree. The aim of the course is to teach students humanoid robot programming and advance application development. Lectures provide basis of motion control, sensor reading, application interfaces, robot navigation and development tools. In labs, students develop advanced applications combining knowledge of various courses like nature inspired algorithms, data mining algorithms, image recognition and web technologies

Knowledge of programming in one of the C++, Java, Python programming languages.

2. Application interfaces for programmers, robot simulator
3. Motion control and balancing by programmer
4. Object manipulation
5. Sensor events and their processing
6. Communication interfaces, web information source usage
7. Neural network and computational intelligence method usage
8. Voice navigation and sound source localization
9. Visual simple object recognition
10. Simple navigation methods
11. Cooperative robotics

The labs are based on individual or team projects. Students present their projects at the end of the semester. Projects contain advanced methods like navigation, image recognition, neural networks, computational intelligence algorithms, web information source usage.

The goal of the course is to provide students advanced knowledge and practical experiences in the intelligent embedded systems field and give them opportunity to apply a wide spectrum of knowledge obtained from various courses for solving complex problems.
