Synopsis:

Types of lighting systems for indoor and outdoor illumination. The procedure for designing of lighting systems. Dimensioning of lighting systems according to: visual performance, visual comfort, safety and biological effects. Circadian rhythm - human centred lighting. Verification of parameters of lighting systems based on a calculation and a measurement. Evaluation of the glare factor of indoor and outdoor lighting systems. New methods in evaluation of the glare factor. Operation and control of lighting systems. Energy efficiency of lighting systems. Economic ratings of lighting systems. Dynamic lighting systems. Smart solutions in lighting systems - The Internet of Things. The usage of daylight in the design of lighting systems.
