The aim of the course is to teach students the structural and technological principles of design of fiber-reinforced composite parts, explanation of the methods of calculation of these parts and examples of design and solutions of supporting parts for applications of polymer composites in mechanical engineering.

2. Design of thin-walled laminate structures from fabrics
3. Principles of design of sandwich panels
4. Sandwich construction, connection, repair of damage
5. Composite profile elements (pultruded, winding, woven bars and profiles)
6. Beam structures from profile elements, hybrid beams, static, dynamic properties
7. Design and control of composite element joints and connection interfaces
8. Design of composite parts in transport, aerospace and space technology
9. Construction and design of panels with reinforcements and joints, solutions examples, stability and strength assessment

11. Application and design of composite parts in production machinery and equipment
