•Alternative energy sources in context of the energy mix of the Czech Republic.
•Hydropower.
•Wind power.
•Solar energy.
•Geothermal energy.
•Waste-to-energy I – properties of solid wastes, amount, sorts and composition of wastes.
•Waste-to-energy II – direct combustion.
•Waste-to-energy III – thermal processes: pyrolysis, gasification, hydrolysis.
•Waste-to-energy IV – landfill gas, biogas, energy utilization of sludges.
