The subject is focused on the issue of doing business in the Czech Republic. Students will learn how to build a business, how to manage and lead it. They will understand how the business works from an economic point of view. It focuses on business mistakes, which are the cause of high mortality of companies. Students will acquire the knowledge needed to establish various forms of business entities, the knowledge needed for orientation in tax matters, insurance premium payments and labor-legal relations.

3. Specifics of the Construction Company and the Construction Market.
4. Abilities, skills and knowledge important for business.
5. Business idea, vision and mission. Business plan.
6. Building a small business.
7. Management and planning in a small business.
8. Financing options. Financial resources for business.
9. Financial management of small and medium-sized companies.
10. Human resources management. Innovation in the personnel strategy of companies.
11. Marketing and business activities.
12. Establishment of a business entity - legal minimum.
13. Issues of taxes and social and health insurance of entrepreneurs - tax minimum.

1. Business opportunities in the Czech Republic, an overview of legal forms of business activity and their comparison.
2. Choice of legal form of business. Entrepreneurship of natural persons, trade, its specifics, obtaining a trade license.
3. Entrepreneurship of legal entities, limited liability company, its specifics.
4. Obligations of the entrepreneur.
5. Property and capital structure of the company.
6. Finance of a start-up company, founding budget, opening balance sheet, planned profit and loss statement, planned cash flow statement.
7. The main reasons for the demise of small and medium-sized companies.
8. Creating a financial plan. Cash flow management. Loan repayment schedule. Examples to practice.
9. Economic evaluation of the business plan (calculation of return on invested capital, NPV, profitability ratios).
10. Creating an effective strategy for motivating, evaluating and rewarding employees.
11. Swot analysis, risk analysis, competition analysis. Credit test.
12. Business plan - student presentation.
13. Completion, credits.
