- Synopsis:

The course introduces students to the e-Government (especially given in relation to health care) and e-health, their foundations and principles, especially in the Czech Republic.
- Requirements:
-
The evaluation will be based on: 1) submission of all tasks; 2) presentation of an individual task; 3) a comprehensive test on the last lesson.
Up to 100 points can be earned during the semester. 20 points can be earned from the assigned tasks, 20 points from the presentation and 60 points from the summary test. The final rating is as follows: A (100-90 points), B (89-80 points), C (79-70 points), D (69-60 points), E (59-50 points), F (49 or less points).

Introduction to the Security of Information Systems; Identification, Authentication, Authorization, Passwords, Biometrics; Encryption. Electronic signature, electronic mark, time stamp. Legislation. Certificates, Certification Authorities, Legislative Framework of e-Government. Privacy Policy, Data Boxes and their legal background in the Czech Republic. Electronic registry. Data Backup and Archiving, Malware, Human Factor in Safety, Social Engineering, Cyber Security Law and Copyright Law in the Czech Republic and their impact on Practice, Web-page Content, Citations. Contact points of public administration (CzechPOINT); Authorized document conversions; Basic registers; Central registers and their functions. IT and the Criminal Code, the possibility of a breach, the impact on the organization, GDPR. Other related laws and regulations in the Czech Republic. e-recipe and other e-health projects, status, options. Communication with Health Insurance Companies in the Czech Republic. Accessible website, mandatory information on the website of the organization. EU directives and other e-government legislation. Electronic Records management. Statistical Information in Health Care.
