Relations:
In order to register for the course F7PMSEAZ, the student must have successfully completed the course F7PMSHZT in a previous semester.
Course guarantor:
Gleb Donin
Lecturer:
Gleb Donin, Ondřej Gajdoš, Jan Žigmond
Tutor:
Aneta Benešová, Martina Homolková, Karla Mothejlová
Supervisor:
Department of Biomedical Technology
Synopsis:

The subject follows the subject of Health Technology Assessment. During the semester the student will get acquainted with specific types of analyzes (cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-benefit analysis, cost-benefit analysis), learn how to work with TreeAge, R and create meta-analyzes and Markov models. The student will further expand his / her knowledge of multi-criteria decision analysis.

Requirements:

Maximum two absences during the semester.

Individual work on exercises - max. 40 points

Concluding test of the substance during the semester (max. 60 points).

Syllabus of lectures:

•Introduction to economic analysis. Conditions of credit. Overview of analyzes.

•Meta-analysis. Use of clinical data in HTA. Randomized and non-randomized controlled trials. Observation studies. RR, ODDS. Forest plot plot.

•Statistical data processing for HTA.

•Multi-criteria decision making - an overview of methods, gradual scheduling of weights, compliance and non-conformities.

•DALY, HYEa. MAFEIP.

•Cost analyzes.

•Siva Cost Assessment Instrument.

•Predictive models of financial analysis.

•Financial analysis indicators.

•DuPont pyramidal decomposition. Budget impact analysis.

•Modeling in HTA. Markov models.

•Use of Bayesian methods in HTA.
