Synopsis:

The specialized knowledge that helps developed practical solutions for the design and implementation network topology of communication systems and the transmitted data ensure, both against interference and against unauthorized access.

Requirements:

•Means of electromagnetic compability

•Physical layer, transmission media, types of electrical signals

•Optical data communications, transmitters, receivers, transmission cables and connectors

•Link Layer. Synchronization, Modulation, Encoding

•Data transmission security, error detection, correction, encryption

•Higher layer of model, features, services

•Overview of industrial buses, examples of their solutions, network topology

•Industrial ASi bus concept, integration of security

•DeviceBus concept

•FieldBus concept
