Introduction into optoelectronics and photonics. Basic knowlede on radiation sources, detectors, and energy transfer by radiation. Basics of fiber optics and scales.

•Plasma, and luminiscence sources and its properies.
•Quantum sources (lasers) and its properies.
•Review of detectors, selective, non-selective.
•External photoelectric effect detectors (vacuum diode, fotomultiplier).
•Internal photoelectric effect detectors (photoresistor, photodiode, phototransistor…).
•Integrated photo detectors (CCD, CMOS, PSD…).
•Design and calculation of optoelectronic devices.
•Basics of Radiation pyrometry.
•Optical scales and fibers.
