- Synopsis:

The lecture series of the course focuses on the construction and design practices of traditional urban construction, selected crafts related to the topic at hand and also on the methodological proposal of the procedure of sensitive conservation restoration of the affected details of historical buildings. The lectures will include exemplary examples of restoration and presentations by practitioners focused on particular thematic areas. The lectures will focus on the following building professions.
- Requirements:

Submission and presentation of the seminar thesis within the prescribed time and scope.
Compulsory attendance at classes, especially workshops and excursions, maximum 3 excused absences.
Continuous correction of work and checking during the course.
The above requirements are necessary but not sufficient conditions for successful completion of the course.

8. Roofing: roofer and sheet metal worker.

11. Technologies and materials in folk architecture.
12. Crafts Day / Field trip
Excursions: e.g. restoration of sgraffito decoration (Litomyšl), restoration of Baroque roof trusses (Plasy Monastery), restoration of Teplá Monastery, etc.
Workshop: e.g. open-air museum of folk architecture (e.g. Veselý Kopec, Zubrnice, etc.), craft workshops in the Centre of Building Heritage - carpenter, carpenter, plumber, plasterer, etc.
