Subject 154SPG belongs to the group of engineering geodesy subjects. It builds on previous studies. It is devoted to the issue of surveying work in some specific areas of documentation and preparation of reconstruction of historic and other construction, transport, water management and industrial objects.
- Requirements:
-
The subject is a continuation of the previous teaching, especially of engineering geodesy, balancing calculus and methods of data collection and processing. It can be an advantage to complete some optional subjects in the given area. For exercises held in measurement groups, the requirements are set by the leader of the exercise.
- Syllabus of lectures:

1 Introduction - Metrology, state standard of lengths
2 Geodetic work in monument preservation and building morphology
3 Investment activity (chimney, wall, bridges, crane tracks, cable cars)
4 Geodetic work in water management (flow modifications, dams, sewers, wastewater treatment plants)
5 Geodetic work in engineering (tolerance, geodetic systems)
6 Geodetic works on railways (crossings, rectification of arches).

1. Introductory exercise - assignment of measuring tasks
2. Measurement the interior of the historical object
3. Statistical control on the completed construction object
4. Measuring the spatial position of the chimney
5. Set out of the construction according to the construction drawing
6. Final exercise - evaluation of measuring tasks

The aim of the study is to supplement and expand basic knowledge for application in some specific areas of industrial, transport, construction and engineering measurements.
