This course further develops communication and language skills based on the course Primer in Communication I. It helps students further improve their communication competence in English for successful international business interactions. It has been designed for students with English at B1 - B2 level of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference).
- Requirements:

Active participation in class; minimum attendance 80%; a presentation on a selected topic; ; academic vocabulary glossary, participation in a final mini-debate.
In case of force majeure (e.g. a pandemic), the oral presentation and the mini-debate can be organised online via MS Teams.

By the end of this course students will:
- Develop accuracy and style in terms of grammar, lexis and functional language
- Improve their pronunciation and fluency
- Increase their English vocabulary including the academic vocabulary
- Practice their interaction in an intercultural environment
- Present information and project ideas
- Defend their ideas and opinions using well-grounded arguments
- Recognise and apply suitable and appropriate language register for different settings and situations
