Synopsis:

Extention of knowledge about subject matter of Physic and Geometric and Wave Optics.

Requirements:

Assessment: active participation on the solution of excercises and knowledges covering the extent of the course - test with five questions, 50% are necessery.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Geometrical Optics - Fundamentals of ray optics, refraction law, law of reflection

2. Geometrical Optics - Elementary optical elements with flat surfaces

3. Geometrical Optics - Definition optical image based on ray optics

4. Geometrical Optics - Paraxial properties of the optical system

5. An optical system defects

6. Optical system basic optical instruments - magnifier, telescope, microscope

7. - 8. Wave optics

9. - 10. Fundamentals of imaging optics (view simple and compound optical systems, calculations of optical systems and their design)

11. - 12. Spectacle lenses - Parameters calculations

13. - 14. Optical instruments
