The course focuses on innovative nuclear fuel and improvement of existing fuels nuclear reactors, namely:
-non-oxide nuclear fuels, their preparation and properties
-Heat conductivity of the fuel and its improvement
-measurement of thermal conductivity fuels
-Zr cladding of nuclear fuels and corrosion
- high temperature oxidation of Zr cladding
-burnable absorbers, their calculation and combination
-code for burnouts:UWB1, comparison with codes MCNP and Serpent
- high burnout calculations using UWB1
