Basic topics: Polymers, copolymers, polymer blends, elastomers, composites with polymer composites, polymer nanocomposites. Chemical, molecular and supemolecular
structure. Physical properties. Influence of crystallinity and orientation on mechanical and physical properties. Glass transition and melting. Polymer networks. Viscoelastic behaviour. Deformation, failure, degradation processes and ageing. Additives including nanoparticles and their function. Elastomers and their properties. Fiber composites and anisotropy of properties .
