Synopsis:

The aim is to prepare students to write and defend bachelor thesis, including work with information sources and to acquire basic presentation skills.

Requirements:

Active participation in seminars, with at least four presentations during the academic year. The final one will take place after submitting the thesis, before completing the program with the state exams. If the student does not take the state final exams in the given academic year, the course must be re-registered.

Formal requirements of bachelor thesis, scope and structure.

2. Working with information sources, use of databases, citation.

3. Introduction of suitable software, data processing programs.

4. The structure and requirements of oral presentations.

5. Exercises of presentation skills, presentation of the results.

Acquired knowledge:

Students will obtain the necessary information for writing the bachelor thesis, mainly the use of information resources and databases and suitable software for data processing. They will acquire basic presentation skills.
