- Synopsis:
-
Within the course some chapters on probability theory and selected statistical methods are explained.
The material presented is illustrated with examples focusing on economic applications and applications in theory of controlling. Excel and the freely available statistical software Jamovi are used to solve the examples.
- Requirements:
-
Knowledge of the basics of probability theory and statistics.
- Syllabus of lectures:
-
See Moodle course Matematické metody v řízení
- Syllabus of tutorials:
-
See Moodle course Matematické metody v řízení
- Study Objective:
-
Students will learn to work with multivariate statistical data. Using available statistical programs, they will be able to solve application problems related to control theory, regression methods and other methods of applied inferential statistics.
