Synopsis:

Preparation of the basic documents for the assignment of a master thesis and their processing. Lectures by experts from the practice (road design, construction technology, information about new procedures and software)

Requirements:

Regular consultations, submission of the final report to themaster thesis supervisor, participate in excursions (site visits etc.) and lectures by experts from practice.

Syllabus of lectures:

Course without lecture.

Syllabus of tutorials:

-lectures by experts from practice

-visit to a residential rehabilitation and recovery centre for the blind + a lecture on designing barrier-free

road structural elements

-basic documents for the assignment of a diploma dissertation

-visiting the location of interest, photo documentation of the current state

-studying of local plan

-traffic surveys - basis for capacity calculations

-production of test specimens (dissertation in the laboratory)

-regular consultation and the final report to the head dissertation supervisor

Study Objective:

Extension of knowledge and documents, their use in the preparation of the master thesis.

Study materials:

Corresponding technical standards, technical specifications, sample drawings.
