Catchment management basics at agriculturaly used landscape. Basic principles of hydrology, retention processes, soil erosion, sediment transport are presented. Also negative effects of soil erosion and surface runoff generation and possible control measures design.

The aim of the study is to prepare the student for engineering practice in catchment management structures - soil erosion conservation measures, ecological structure of landscape, retention measures, etc.
