System state modeling using State Machine Diagrams (UML), data modeling using Entity Relationship Diagram, platform independent data model, data model normalization, data types, platform specific data model. Implementation of data model in database system (data definition language and data manipulation language). Data query language - simple select, data aggregation, subselects, joining tables.
Databases for Management Information Systems - design procedures, ETL processes, data storage and optimization methods, data processing, data marts.
Data formats for building information modeling (BIM) data structure and data format for storing IFC data principles of object-oriented modeling, basics of UML language, EXPRESS modeling language, STEP data format and their use for storing IFC data, basic content of IFC.
